Ryan Hafer - Chief Engineer/Owner

With a strong musical background, Ryan has been in the professional audio and music industry for over 18 years, working as a freelance engineer/mixer in studios around Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco. He has also toured extensively as a Front Of House engineer and Production/Tour Manager, and has spent many years as a gigging musician playing multiple instruments. Currently a member of NARAS (the Grammy people) he stays active in the audio and music community, and strives to provide a high level of expertise and professionalism to established and independent artists.

Jesse Hellen-Lloyd - Assitant Engineer

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Jesse has been playing and studying music around the Orange County and Los Angeles areas since 1998. While completing his percussion degree at Cal State Long Beach, he got his start in recording and engineering working as an audio tech in the various performance venues on campus. He has worked mixing monitors and front of house locally and has travelled all over the southland to record concerts and performances for student musicians and seasoned pros alike. In addition to filling a vital roll as an assistant engineer for every session, he provides technical maintenance of studio equipment and assists with the day-to-day operations of Secret Ninja.
